Moral was created in 2018 by a group of friends with a shared passion for environmental protection. Over the past seven years, we have consistently upheld sustainable practices, using fabrics made from recycled plastic bottles in all our products. Moral's mission is to achieve style while respecting the planet's resources, offering consumers products that are both fashionable and eco-friendly.

Recycled Plastic Bottles → Bag Fabrics
From 2018 to 2025, Moral has incorporated various eco-friendly materials into its products, starting from the basic rPET recycled polyester to the recently introduced Waxed Canvas and Fast-degrading fabrics — all designed to achieve a sustainable future. We are committed to sourcing high-quality recycled and sustainable materials from around the world, giving discarded fabrics and plastics a second life. Every bag tells a true story of circularity and sustainability.

rPET Recycled Polyester Marle: A Guardian of the Environment
[rPET is the core material used in our products. Not only is it eco-friendly, but it is also a durable recycled material, making it an excellent choice for backpack fabrics.]
rPET is a fiber made from recycled plastic bottles. According to a United Nations report, plastic accounts for 85% of marine waste. The report further states that by 2040, the amount of plastic pollution entering the oceans will nearly triple, increasing by 23-37 million tons annually. This means that by then, there will be approximately 50 kilograms of plastic for every meter of coastline worldwide.
rPET recycled polyester plays a crucial role in alleviating the current severe plastic pollution issue. Since most plastic bottles are made of PET (polyethylene terephthalate), rPET is derived from recycling these bottles. Recycling helps divert materials from the waste stream, preventing them from entering the oceans and landfills. Additionally, it reduces the release of toxic substances from incinerators and contributes to mitigating extreme climate conditions.
Waxed Canvas: The Green Armor for the Rainy Season
[Waxed Canvas is a plastic-free fabric that prevents rainwater from pooling or seeping through.]
Waxed canvas is a specially treated canvas material with excellent water-resistant properties and a lightweight nature. Through the application of dry wax or oil wax using a heat treatment process, wax penetrates the canvas fibers to form a water-repellent layer. This effectively protects against light rain or splashes, offering comprehensive protection for the contents of your backpack. With Waxed Canvas, you can enjoy worry-free travel in any weather. Compared to other water-repellent materials, Waxed Canvas is relatively lightweight, reducing the burden on your shoulders.
Beyond its functionality, Waxed Canvas exudes a unique, natural charm. Its minimalist and soft texture reflects the harmonious blend of canvas and nature. The fabric's texture is clear, delicate, and uniform, showcasing the pure beauty of natural fibers. In addition to being durable and aesthetically pleasing, the Waxed Canvas we use meets the REACH standards, ensuring it is safe for both human health and the environment.
Fast-Degrading Fabric: Leading the Future of Green Fashion
[Fast-degrading fabric is not only high-quality, comfortable, and breathable but also an eco-friendly material with water-repellent and stain-resistant properties.]
According to a United Nations study, nearly 70 million barrels of oil are consumed annually to produce synthetic plastic fabrics like polyester. This practice poses a significant threat to the environment. Fast-degrading fabrics offer a promising solution to this long-standing issue.
Unlike traditional plastic-based fabrics, Fast-degrading fabrics do not release harmful chemical by-products during production. They help mitigate microplastic pollution in oceans and reduce carbon emissions. These fabrics naturally break down into soil and can be safely recycled or reused. Overall, Fast-degrading fabrics minimize pollution and toxicity at every stage of their lifecycle.
At Moral, the fabrics we use decompose 100 times faster than conventional products, returning to nature in a short period and reducing environmental impact. This demonstrates that Fast-degrading fabrics are essential for the future of the fashion industry.
Since our inception, we’ve saved countless plastic bottles from ending up in landfills. However, compared to the tens of thousands of tons of plastic bottles discarded annually, this is not enough. Therefore, we hope to take action and invite everyone to do their part in protecting the environment, working together to create a greener future.
